Used breastpump question…?
I bought a brand new Lasinoh breast pump while I was pregnant. (http://www.amazon.com/Lansinoh-Double-Electric-Breast-1-Count/dp/B001TUZOBA) I used it for about 1 1/2 months because I was unable to produce any breast milk. My friend just found out she is pregnant and wants an electric breast pump, but cant afford one. The way the lansinoh breast pump is designed, a few extra parts can be bought for about $25 so none of my milk will cross contaminant hers. (http://www.lactationconnection.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=58) Basically she would just be using the same motor and not the other parts. I am planning on having more children, however with my struggle to breastfeed this first time I am not even going to bother with the second one. Do you think it would be weird for me to offer her mine?

I think this would be a great gift for your friend.
Some people even use the same parts on used breast pumps they just clean them thoroughly before using it.
